Providing community services can be an extremely rewarding adventure.  As a volunteer, you are not only doing something for the organization but you’re devoting your time and efforts to the betterment of the world and the community around you.  For several years, we at JEGroup have given back by volunteering on a regular basis with several non-profit organizations:

  • Scotts Valley Tribal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (SVT TANF) – Served as an Instructor teaching life and professional services to enhance and prepare clients for personal, employment and career readiness for the Welfare to Work Program
  • Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Alameda County– Served as a CASA Volunteer Specializing in Emancipated Youth
  • Girls Inc – Served as Public Relations Chair; Treasurer and on Board of Directors
  • Oakland Digital Arts & Literacy (ODALC)– Served as Program/Project Manager to assist with annual events such as Small Business Media Symposium, Inspiration Awards, and Inspire Oakland
